Mission
Whidbey island nourishe's (win) primary activity is to provide south whidbey children and teens nutritious food for weekends and school vacations. The food win distributes is either healthy lunch-based grocery items or ready to eat sack lunches. Each enrolled child receives enough food for two lunches per weekend.meals are distributed to students at school to take home or delivered directly to their household. Ready-to-eat lunch items are also made available to community partners to distribute to youth they serve. Additionally, win's snack program provides fresh fruit and vegetable snacks to all students in kindergarten through 6th grade at the south whidbey school district to encourage healthy eating.

School farm program - sponsored the south whidbey school farm promoting food education and particpation in learning how to grow food to students in the south whidbey school district.
Nutrition education & outreach - provided a fesh fruit and vegetable snack program and supported nutrition & culinary education to the elementary school students in the south whidbey school district.
