The organization plans to engage in a number of charitable activities. Its various activities will include teaching children the basic fundamentals of the game of baseball, sponsorship of a reading club in conjuction with local elementary schools in the greater west michigan area and making grants to other nonprofit, irc sec 501(c)(3) organizations. These activities teach sportsmanship and the positive values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring and to bolster childrens reading abilities.

The program encourages children to read a minimum of fifteen minutes per day during the month of march (reading month). The program runs in conjuction with the teachers of local elementary schools in the area. In addition, the organization provides bookmarks and other related materials to assist the teachers in promoting this reading program.

Make grants to other nonprofit, irc 501(c)(3) organizations. One of the primary recipients of these grants is expected to be the ymca inner city youth baseball/softball program. To support these grants, the organization plans to organize and sponsor an annual banguet (as a fund raiser), and to also organize and manage 50-50 raffles at various whitecaps ballgames.
