The mission of The Who We Are Project is to preserve and share the full history of anti-Black racism in the United States by collecting documentation, cultivating historians, facilitating learning, and producing media content for broad distribution.

TWWAP's Appearances, Events, and Speaking Engagements deploy founding CEO Jeffery Robinson and other speakers to present media, share historical information, and facilitate conversation at various events throughout the country and online. The second full year of the program in 2023 involved more than 35 appearances, including festivals and workshops and speaking engagements with groups, leaders and teams across a range of sectors and communities, mostly related to engagement and outreach surrounding the feature film, and reaching approximately 50,000 people.
