Independence day-community event fourth of july celebration, free to the community. Activities included open bands, vendors and fireworks. Approx. 6000 in attendence.

Wichita parks foundation supports many other events/projects including pickleball courts, tennis, kayaking and other activities throughout the year, enhancing the quality and maintaining the heritage of wichita's park system.
