Educate those affected by wiedemann-steiner syndrome, a rare genetic condition, and to support and advocate for ongoing scientific research.

Utilized platforms to learn more about those affected by wss through "burden of illness" surveys in order to continue to evolve the goals of the foundation to meet the needs of the wss community.
Hired a chief scientific officer, who, in concert with the scientific advisory board, developed and are implementing a research strategy tobest utilize resources to meet long term goals.
Completed a wss mouse model project to set the stage for future therapy development efforts, had neurocognitive testing performed on individuals with wss to develop a neurocognitive profile, and started biomarker research.
