The prevention of cruelty to animals, and more specifically, to provide housing, food and medical care to animals that have been given up by their owners and animals that can no longer be cared for by shelters; to do home visits and check refrences and generally screen prospective owners of animals in the organization's care, and to make placement of such animals with suitable new owners.
