Mission
Willowtail springs nature preserve and education center was organized to conserve, expand and improve the existing 60 acres of willowtail springs, its buildings and its diverse and rich eco systems; to support and encourage those who seek to conserve, protect, and renew nature; to promote education through the arts and sciences; and to provide a protected environment, allowing those practitioners to pursue their vision through exploration, reflection, research, collaboration and creative talents. Of growing importance is the community "giveback" which is part of this residency program. This involves classes, presentations, demonstrations, lectures, exhibitions, workshops and lectures which the residents share with the community.
