Wilson's creek national battlefield foundation strives to bring history to life, protect hallowed ground, and preserve americans' heritage for generations to come.

The organization provided three grants to support the battlefield, including 1) purchase of an original us civil war federal artillery enlisted shell jacket 2) participation in a joint effort to restore the regimental flag of the cherokee mounted rifles, known as the cherokee braves, and 4) assist with bus services at a special fall luminary tour at the park. The artificats listed are part of important and historic collections that will benefit the american public for generations to come.
Explorer summer quest camp was hsoted for nine-to-twelve year old kids to give them an in-depth experience at the battlefield. Approximately 60 kids benefited.
