Wine Country Curling Club Inc

Leagues: Approximately 130 curlers participated in Winter, Summer, and Fall curling leagues.Each league held 6-13 curling dates for a total of approximately 100 curling dates. Prior to each league time 5-7 WCCC members volunteered to prepare the ice for curling - spending 60 minutes prior to each of the league times. After the league times, 35 WCCC members volunteered to clean the ice, remove, and store the curling rocks and equipment, taking approximately 30 minutes at each league day for this activity. The ice rink where the league games are held does not assist with any ice preparation of equipment storage. There was a WCCC member who also sits on the board, who coordinated all league work at no cost to the WCCC. WCCC members were present at all league games to provide instruction for those needing assistance. No WCCC member providing such instruction was compensated.

Crush and Barrel Tournaments: WCCC hosted 2 curling tournaments for approximately 144 curlers at the "Crush and 96 curlers at the "Barrel". The curlers come from all over the US and Canada for the event. Approximately 25 WCCC members volunteered their weekends to plan, prepare, promote, and execute these events.
