Provide food, clothing, shelter and spiritual assistance to men in need. Help rehabilitate individuals so that they may again become productive members of society.

Programs

The new life center transformers program is a one-year men's residential program providing structure, discipline, accountability, recovery classes, additional case management, work therapy, integrated biblical counseling and spiritual guidance services for selected graduates of our 90-day program. Life skills, career development, and other educational opportunities are also offered in this program, including classes towards ged completion, computer education and college courses. This program has a 32-bed capacity at our winston-salem campus. During 2024-2025, 20 men were served through this program, with 7 graduating. Additionally, 10 went on to obtain outside employment and 15 transferred from our program to permanent housing. 7 residents attending educational programs.

The wsrm community outreach programs and food service department impact over 5,000 individuals per year by providing free services to those in need, including food pantry and clothing closet, and space for free medical, dental and foot care services. Wsrm also provides holiday food boxes for those needing help during the thanksgiving and christmas season. During 2024-2025; wsrm provided a total of 111,178 meals to the community, including: mission kitchen served 114,642 meals to the program residents. The holiday food box program provided over 1,000 individuals with meals in the community. The wsrm clothing closet distributed 11,102 pieces of clothing. The wsrm is the host site for the samaritan medical clinic, which provides free medical/dental/foot care services to 765 individuals without insurance.
