Wiquapaug Eastern Pequot Indian Tribe

The Wiquapaug Eastern Pequot Indian Tribe (WEPIT) is organized as a Native American Tribe for the purpose of local self-government. Activities of WEPIT have been, are, and will continue to be as is stated in the Tribal Constitution, By-Laws and Formation Documents. That necessarily includes the promotion of education of members and non-members and the understanding of history, language, religion, and arts and crafts; as well as the acquisition, preservation, conservation and development of Tribal Lands.
