The purpose of the corporation is to foster economic development in the state of wisconsin exclusively through charitable and educational activities within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The principal objectives of the corporation shall be to provide ongoing research analysis, policy analysis, professional education, training, communication and certification to economic development organization and individuals in the professional practice of economic development.
