Mission
Promote and support the development of women in science technology engineering and mathematics and address the disparities in california and the persons filling these key positions.
Programs

Develop plan and execute the annual Women in California Leadership public policy retreat. This event brings together members of the California Womens Caucus to discuss legislative priorities and issues affecting women for the upcoming legislative year.
Carceral Justice Educational Outreach-The Organziation has been active on a number of issues related to CAs two state prisons for women in particular working to address the pervasive staff on inmate sexual assault expand family visitation and establish community based facilities for incarcerated women with minor children. The Organization have made a number of visits to the womens facilities and held briefings in the state capitol with formerly incarcerated women their advocates and CDCR officials. The opportunity to visit Hydebank and Sterling prisons as well as meet with Scotland and Northern Ireland government officials and NGO advocates who have transformed their countrys approaches to incarceration and sentencing furthered and enriched this goal.
Meetings Strategy consulting for exempt function.
Execute program support for grants up to a maximum of $5,000 per legislative district to non-profit organizations whose work empowers and benefits women and girls.
