Mission
Our ambition is to build a reputation as a reliable and trusted partner for cultivating a community in the mining industry that fosters trust and respect, and making progress toward industry attraction and retention goals.
Programs
3 programs
Student chapter support - provided assistance to student chapters to send three representatives from their chapter to attend the national conference. Student's transportation, lodging and meals were covered. Also provided $500 to each student chapter in support of their annual programming which included field trips to mine sites and meals for meetings.
General programs - this program includes our mentorship network which connects mentors with mentees to have career development conversations. We have 214 mentors and 261 mentees enrolled in the program. This also covers our "leadership lab" series providing leadership training to multiple cohorts of students 20 at a time with 5 scholarships funded through wim usa.
