Women In Science Demonstrating Outstanding Merits Foundation

Women in science demonstrating outstanding merits foundation is incorporated under the pennsylvania nonprofit corporation law of 1988 or any successor act (as amended) exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 or any successor act (as amended), or the corresponding provisions of any future united states internal revenue law (hereinafter referred to as the "code"). Included among the education and charitable purposes for which the corporation is organized are the following: to promote science science education for women and girls and to recognize the achievements of women in science as well as support a positive atmosphere for women studying and working in science. Within those purposes, the corporation shall have the power to engage in all lawful business for which corporations may be incorporated under the pennsylvania nonprofit corporation law, including such charitable purposes as may be determine
