Crisis NavigationOur team responded to approximately 8,000 calls through the Domestic Violence Support Line and an additional 800 information and referral calls on our business line. As an extension of this work, the Domestic Violence Information and Referral Center (DVIRC) hosted over 225,000 searches.
OUTREACH/PREVENTIONIn addition to offering 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training programs for community members, W.O.M.A.N. Inc. partnered with various organizations, with a continued focus on the medical community. This year, we provided in-person training sessions to surgeons at UCSF, met with emergency room physicians, and trained nurse advocates to promote a meaningful, trauma-informed response for survivors accessing healthcare.
