Mission

Women veterans ignited, inc. Is focused on ensuring women who have served on active duty, national guard or reserves transition into the civilian community with the tools they need to become self-sufficient. We will provide supportive services and resources to women veterans and advocate for and promote community awareness of their challenges and accomplishments at the local, state and national level ensuring each has a voice.

Programs

Her total wellness and handup programs empowers women veterans to adopt a healthier and sustainable lifestyle by building wholesome habits focusing on nutrition and healthly life choices. Her total wellness is a six week program designed to meet their holistic needs focusing on body, mind, and economic empowerment. Operation handup provides non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items for homeless women veterans.

Expenses: $5K

Her space - this program provides emergency shelter and transitional housing to women veterans and their children. Reidents receive case management to help them prepare to go into stable housing. Residents can stay up to six months.
