The hall's mission is to honor the past, celebrate the present, and promote the future of women's basketball through management of the women's basketball hall of fame located in knoxville, tn. In addition to operation of the women's basketball hall of fame, the hall administers a grant from the united states department of state global sports mentoring program to empower women and people with disabilities around the world through sports mentorship program.
