Cross-cultural work teams: pfp is committed to providing education and engagement opportunities for people in the developed world to expand their knowledge of participants' development practices. The outcomes are reducing poverty and producing long-term transformational change in rural communities in the developing world. A volunteer work team visited kenya in june 2024.
Leadership support:pfp's commitment to equip women with leadership skills has been a long-standing program. Through support of local classes and introductions to network opportunities the kenyan leaders are receiving training locally. The regional program managers train their group members. Each year, the pfp staff and a group of volunteers spend time in kenya providing support and training. No revenue is derived from this program.
