Mission

The massachusetts women's history center (mwhc) mission is to amplify the history of massachusetts women of all backgrounds from throughout the commonwealth to inspire people - young and old - to reach their potential. The mwhc provides virtual exhibits, articles, biographies and more and live presentations, to share inspiring historical and educational information about the important contributions made and challenges endured by massachusetts women of all racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and gender identities over the centuries, and of major milestones in ma women's history. Mwhc created its flagship program, massachusetts women's hall of fame, to honor massachusetts women and organizations, past and present, that have made a profound impact which, if better known, will inspire others - young and old alike.
