July 1-28, 2024 Humanistic Buddhism Monastic Life Program (HBMLP) at Woljeongsa South KoreaThe Woodenfish program co-hosted by Woljeongsa in South Korea. At the head temple of the Jogye order participants will have extensive academic classes on Buddhism, meditation intensive retreat, and cultural classes while living in a monastic lifestyle structured environment. The program gave the participants to experience Buddhist Monastic life & training in the pristine Odaesan Mountains. The program also provided Seven Day Silent Meditation retreat and three day Confucian Cultural Tour.

March 15, 2024The Woodenfish worked in collaboration with WAKSAW-Uddiyana Archaeological Alliance , co-hosted the event, which featured a female-led discussion panel, workshop. The 68th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68) was held March 11-22, 2024, at the UN headquarters with a theme of "Addressing poverty through a gender lens, strengthening institutions and financing to accelerate the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls". Among the 6000 governmental and non-governmental representatives from around the world included bhikkhunis and members of the international Buddhist organization Fo Guang Shan. March 23, 2024- Seminar :The International symposium on the The Buddhist Heritage of GandharaThe Woodenfish worked in collaboration with WAKSAW for a Gandhara Seminar at HARVARD University. The seminar named : The International symposium on the The Buddhist Heritage of Gandhara. The topics for the seminar included 1.Localized Diemensions of Buddhist Material Practices: Relic establishment, Stupa Cults, and Narrative Transmission between Gandhara and central Asia2.Gaps in Gandharan Studies: Periodization, place and methods of interpretation3.Power of thins, narratives and texts in emplacement of Buddhism in GandharaThe seminar invited special guest Ms. Zenab Adnan Aurangzeb ( The family of the Wali of Swat) and professors and Dr. speakers from various universities.

April 27, 2024 - Daoist Ritual Studies The Woodenfish hosted Daoist Ritual Studies Harvard Daoist Studies Symposium, at Center for World Religions, at Harvard Asia Center. The program primarily in the body, gender, and self-cultivation in Daoism. Participants from various Universities form the United States including Harvard University, Dartmouth College, Arizona State University, University of California at Santa Barbara, Loyola University Chicago and Universities from Asian countries such as Rikkyo University and Keio University from Japan and Nanyang Technical College from Singapore.
