Woodlands wildlife refuge presented 32 educational programs to volunteers, schools, corporations and various other groups. We also responded to approximately 4,223 telephone calls relating to wildlife questions and concerns from residents of 21 counties.
Woodlands wildlife refuge sold "broke leg bear" books, which is an educational children's book. It tells the true story of an injured bear cub that woodlands rehabilitated and successfully released back into the wild.
