Mission

The mission of the woodside-portola valley fire protection foundation (cont. Sch. O) (continued) inc., (referred to as the fire foundation) is to augment the woodside fire protection district (wfpd) budget for up-to-date equipment, facilities, fire prevention and training. The fire foundation will enable wfpd to provide the most advanced and efficient form of all-risk emergency responsive services. Specifically, the fire foundation has three goals: 1) provide for state of the art emergency response during fire, rescue, emergency medical incidents and natural disasters. 2) provide capital improvements to facilities and emergency response equipment and apparatus. 3) provide for the enhancement of safety, fire prevention, disaster awareness and education.
