Other programs:the independent living program provides services to youth who are aging out of foster care. The prgoram was awarded region 6 in 2024 - now have region 6 & region 7fast forward grants focus on industry training and basic job skills.

Food share employment and training (fset):the fset program is an employment and training program operated as part of the federal supplemental nutrition assistance program (snap), which is known as foodshare (fs) in wisconsin. Both fs and its fset component are administered by the wisconsin department of health services (dhs).according to the federal food and nutrition act of 2008, the purpose of fset is to provide fs members with opportunities to gain skills, training and experience needed to improve employment prospects and reduce reliance on fs benefits. The program also offers fs members a way to meet the work requirements stipulated in the food and nutrition act of 2008.the goal of fset is to provide fs members the assistance and support they need to obtain and maintain competitive employment. The objective of fset is to draw upon the strengths, needs and preferences of individual job seekers by offering an array of employment and training services intended to facilitate an efficient use of resources to assist fset volunteers to move promptly into unsubsidized employment. In addition to employment and training services, the fset program offers assistance to fs members while they look for work. Offered assistance includes help with resumes and applications, transportation support, work-readiness workshops, interview assistance, and work experience volunteer placements. Total participants served last year was 2,385 with 1,144 entering employment. Region 8 was awarded to another provider and we stopped services on sept 30, 2024.. We still have region 7.

Transitional jobs: working with individuals who have child support to find them employment through job skills and stipends to encourage employment to continue their support.

Wioa adult services:workforce resource, inc. Served 122 adults. Services to these individuals included assessment, career planning, pre-employment skills development, basic skill education, work experience, job readiness training, occupational skills training, on-the-job training, job search preparation and job placement. During the program year 77% of the individuals who exited were employed during the second quarter after exiting, and 71.8% retained that employment in the fourth quarter after exiting. The three-month mean-earnings for all adults was $7,000. Workforce resource, inc. Exceeded the goal for the credential performance measure.

Wioa dislocated workers services:a total of 119 dislocated workers were served under dislocated worker and rapid response grants. During the program year 78.9% of the participants who exited the program were working during the second quarter after exiting and 83.5% retained their employment during the fourth quarter after exiting. Services included assessment, career planning, occupational skills training, on-the-job training, basic skills development, job search preparation and job placement. The three-month mean earnings for all wioa dislocated workers was $10,082.

Wioa youth services:a total of 127 youth between 14 and 24 years of age were served during the 2023-2024 program year. Services included assessment, career planning, pre-employment skill development, work experience, basic skills education, alternative education, school-to-work transition services, occupational skills training, job readiness training, job search preparation and job placement. Youth are eligible to participate in work experience at various public and private worksites where they mastered both work maturity and job specific skills. Workforce resource, inc. Exceeded four youth performance measures in 2023-2024: placement in employment or education, fourth quarter retention and median earnings. The youth program was completed in april 2024 with final billing in may 2024.

Senior community employment program:the senior community employment program assists individuals over 55 transition into jobs by providing training and work experience. Contract was completed on sept 30, 2023.

Fee program: they have several programs they work with - dvr, ccs, ticket to work, learn 2 earn, iris. This program works with individuals with disabilites to find them employment through job skills training and classes.

Innovation grant: working with local businesses and high schools to promote skills in the manufacturing industry through enrollment in trade schools.
