The world affairs council of miami is an independent, non-partisan, non- profit organization. We engage our community on global issues through civil discussion and inclusive education. We are a proud member of the world affairs councils of america national network. We serve the greater miami public with an expert speaker series to provide timely and high-quality information on international topics; we connect diplomats with the public during ambassadorial visits and via events to link miami innovators with local consulates (80+ nations represented in our region). With our partner venture cafe? Miami, and through our ?c-the-future? Series, we hold talks between diplomats and entrepreneurs on global tech and policy trends. We educate high school students on global affairs via the world affairs councils of america?s annual, nation-wide academic worldquest; we connect organizations, businesses, and individuals interested in global affairs from miami and beyond through social and profession
