Promote peaceful, just & inclusive societies - working towards peaceful, just and inclusive societies builds on religions for peace's previous work under the strategic plan for 2014-2018 to transform violent conflict, promote just and harmonious societies, and advance human development. Religion for peace's outgoing work towards peaceful, just and inclusive societies supposts several sustainable development goals. This work includes, but are not limited to, addressing public health challenges (covid, ebola, etc), armaments, poverty, migrants and refugees, child health and wellbeing (e.g. Faith for positive change for children, families and communities), etc.

Expenses: $1.0MGrants: $182K

Foster multi-religious collaboration - rfp aims to strengthen its capacity for colloborative action and partnerships across the rfp movement by increasing communication, advancing program partnerships, and facilitating public alliances globally, regionally and nationally. Recognizing the multitude of governmental, intergovernmental civil society, and multi-religious and faith-based organizations working toward common goals, rfp seeks to broaden its partnerships with these organizations to scale up its reach and impact.

Expenses: $690KGrants: $80K

Strengthen interreligious education - concerning world peace, seminars, conferences on religious conflicts, and various other programs expenses $39,000 including grants of $0 revenue $0. Advanced gender equality -equality for women and girls is a foundation for securing a more peaceful and inclusive world for all people. Throughout history, women disproportionately suffer the consequences of violent conflict, poverty, and restrictions on their freedoms. They are the focal point of so many difficulties that they are also the first to respond in situations of social and political unrest. Many women are motivated and strengthened by their faith, yet their stories, knowledge, and expertise are seldom recognized in newsrooms and chambers of government alike. Because of this, religions for peace will continue to illuminate the necessary role of women in shaping the world and responding to crises. Religions for peace will also continue to equip faith-inspired women, men, youth, with knowledge and analysis, connectivity and narratives, linking religions to peace and security, sustainable development, and human rights. Expenses $112,423 including grants of $0 revenue $0. Champion freedom of thought, conscience & religion -this global campaign promotes mutual respect, diversity, tolerance, and a shared concern for the well-being of "the other" through practical action. The builds tolerance and understanding of the religious "other". Programs with a specific focus on responding to hate crimes and reconciling communities have been implemented by our interreligious councils. Holy sites are of crucial spiritual and cultural significance to billions of people. Yet, history demonstrates how sacred places are often caught up in political, territorial, and religious disputes, becoming pawns of conflict themselves. Harm to holy sites impacts people's identities, reinforces trauma, and fuels the escalation of violence. In response, religions for peace and partners launched the universal code of conduct on holy sitesa cutting-edge strategy to mitigate interreligious conflict and build peace. Expenses $7,325 including grants of $0 revenue $0.
