The organization uses every means available to accomplish the purpose, using radio, video, literature and humanization aid in many forms such as caring for the orphans, feeding the hungry etc. We evangelize through conferences, seminars, teaching classes and in prison ministries. We act as a service organization in the field to assess needs and deploy help via our first hand knowledge and contacts with the people. Wfjm moved our satellite office to seattle to begin a prayer network - joel's army - and a localized missionary outreach - cedarwood international. Our prayer network, joel's army is bringing together intercessors from all over the world in order to teach and train them how to pray in accordance with the bible. This effort is an extension of our gathering of the eagles conferences held three times per year wherein intercessors come in from all over the world to pray for the nation. We have two international coordinators who travel around the world on behalf of wfjm to teach and train pastors and intercessors biblical foundations for intercession. Cedarwood international (cw) has been designed to meet the physical needs of the poor. Cw consists of a pantry, coats & clothes closet, and backpack kids. Our cw pantry is open once each week in order to provide a place where local families can come and receive food free of charge with no obligations. Cw coats & clothes provides only clothing that is in -like- new" condition to people of all ages and for casual to business needs. Cw backpack kids is a program developed to provide meals to school age children who would otherwise be with little or no food on the weekends and extended holidays such as christmas and easter. Our plan is not to simply provide for the basic needs but to work toward further development of our cw program and work with local businesses to provide training for unemployed individuals in an effort to help them become self-sufficient members of the community. Wfjm continues to provide support to missionaries around the world as well as to pastors of small churches who live here in the states. We continue to provide our teaching and training books and cds free of charge to those who request them. Freely you have received, freely you shall give.
