Worthy endeavors (we) is a faith-based international relief agency focusing on follow-up actions to those missed or underserved by large aid organizations.- we responds to both short-term events (natural disasters, war, famine, political upheaval) and long-term needs of underserved populations.- we emphasizes collaboration with larger organizations to avoid duplication of relief efforts.- we's first relief effort occurred in the aftermath of the indian ocean tsunami. A $25 gas bottle for a stove was provided to an elderly couple in rural sri lanka, supplementing a kitchen kit supplied by a larger aid agency which failed to include the gas bottle.- we follows a "do no harm" policy, conducting site visits and establishing a point of contact before funding any response. -we provided significant aid after hurricane katrina, remaining on-site in mississippi and louisiana for 18 months to assist with casework and supply new beds to the flood-affected areas.
