Wpcu sunshine community fund manages the following funds: 1. Moneymagnifier - enhance financial capability development among k college students, with intentional efforts given to engage students who are underserved, college-bound or currently in college and living within the communities wpcu serves moneymagnifier features a variety of financial learning activities, programs and classroom presentations to enable students' financial literacy today and foster financially secure adults in the future. 2. Managing your finances through cancer - financial learning program for patients who are diagnosed with cancer (especially stage 4 cancer) in the dayton region. Using a combination of one-on-one coaching, hands on tools and self serve technology, the hybrid financial learning program includes an initial financial evaluation/needs assessment to determine immediate next steps for newly diagnosed cancer patients and those who survive. 3. First-time homebuyer down payment assistance program - provide grants to first-time homebuyers who fall below a certain income level. 4. Douglas a. Fecher learning in excellence scholarship program - provides scholarships to students in need that attend wright state university or the university of cincinnati with an option to renew the scholarship for an additional year.
