Wyman leaderswyman leaders supports young people in st. Louis to develop life and leadership skills, enter and complete college and career education programs, and create strong community connections. Young people participate in intensive peer group experiences each summer, as well as consistent group and individualized coaching and enrichment activities throughout the school year. This long-term, engaging, and holistic program produces outstanding outcomes with teens and young adults. In the 2023-2024 school year, more than 200 young people participated in wyman leaders. A current study of graduates has demonstrated strong long-term results. Learnings from this 20-year program as well as feedback from teens are being used to redesign wyman leaders to ensure it continues to be impactful and responsive to the needs of teens.

Teen connection project (tcp)our ability to build strong social connections and relationships with others is a prerequisite to developmental and mental health outcomes yet many young people lack healthy, positive, and affirming connections with others, feeling isolated and alone. The teen connection project (tcp) is a nationally recognized, evidence-based, highly interactive program that builds strong connections. During this 12-14 week program, teens meet in small groups and participate in lessons that focus on communication, trust, vulnerability, giving and getting support, and exploring personal strengths. Teens create and maintain social connections, build important life and leadership skills, and focus on and improve their overall well-being. They then share what they have learned within their schools, homes, and communities. In the 2023-2024 school year, wyman directly served more than 150 teens in st. Louis and through our partners, more than 300 teens nationally participate in tcp each year. Given the current teen mental health crisis and tcp's aligned outcomes, wyman is prioritizing expansion of the program in st. Louis and through national partners.

Other program servicescamp wyman experiences - wyman's camp wyman experiences operations serve as a social entrepreneurial arm of the organization. Based at our camp in eureka, mo, we host outdoor education camps that incorporate science, environmental education, and team-building activities, adult and youth retreats, business meetings, weddings and more. Wyman's staff tailor experiences to help groups of all kinds learn to embrace challenges, go beyond the expected, and realize their potential. All net proceeds generated from camp wyman experiences directly support wyman's mission services to enable teens to lead successful lives and build strong communities. Wyman's national network - provides program replication and positive youth development training services across the united states to positively impact teens and increase the skills of the adults who work with them.
