Mission

Wyoming agriculture in the classroom strives to develop students' understanding of wyoming's vast resources in oder that they become informed citizens, capable of serving as stewards for wyoming's future. The most significant program is the wyoming stewardship project. This effort provides classroom lessons for grades 2-5. The bookmark program supports this effort by providing educators and students an opportunity to discover wyoming's resources and share their knowledge in a creative way.

Programs

Each year wyoming agriculture in the classroom encourages 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to submit a hand drawn bookmark for the program. Each year finalists are recognized in cheyenne by the governor for their achievement in art and excellence in interpreting agriculture and natural resource concepts.
