The annual yadkin valley grape festival was created to promote the vineyards, wineries, and other craftsmen of the yadkin valley. This one- day event, held annually on the third day in october, features wines of the yadkin valley, commercial vendors, food vendors and entertainment. The yadkin valley grape festival attracts many visitors to downtown yadkinville from throughout the southeastern us and is a big boost to the economic health of the area.
