Yakima Symphony Orchestra is a regional nonprofit organization that offers its audiences high quality symphonic and other music. It brings to the Central Washington Community stimulating, entertaining and educational activities related to music.

Educational activities - Youth Orchestra and strings program, ensemble visits to schools and pre-concert lectures. The Yakima Symphony Orchestra also does an annual student concert plus hires professional musicians as teachers and mentors for an after-school orchestra-based anti-poverty social program.
