Mission

Ycrc helps individuals and communities resolve conflicts, address interpersonal harms, and restore relationships through restorative justice and mediation services. Ycrc's vision is to create a place where people discover that conflict and harm can become opportunies for growth and healing.

Programs

4 programs

Training and workshops: training services were provided to the community and to volunteers on different topics ranging from mediation, conflict resolution, forgiveness and restorative justice. In fy 24, training occured both virtually and in-person to continue to accomodate participants from various counites and states.

Facilitation: ycrc provides facilitation services to engage community members on a variety of community issues including restorative conflict resolution and community building.

Restorative practices: this year ycrc provided restorative services as a part of our contract agreement with yolo county probation, as well as the woodland police department.

Community outreach: ycrc has made many community based presentations in order to let community members know about mediation, training and restorative justice services. Ycrc also has a social media presence.
