Economic Empowerment: Our Economic Empowerment Program increases pathways to financial freedom for survivors by directly investing into survivor-led small businesses through mentorship, small business building, capacity support, financial capital and financial literacy. Our grant funding to survivor-led small businesses range between $500 - $1,000 for survivors. This program also houses our Nurture by YAMT Wellness Box, a survivor-centered curated box that allows us to partner with survivor-led small businesses and provides survivors with wellness materials that supports survivors in navigating through mental health difficulties. Through this program we also provide survivor leaders with economic empowerment opportunities to gain meaningful employment through paid internships, consultation work, part-time and full-time work.
Wellness Program: Our Wellness Program supports survivors by providing barrier free access to individual and group counseling services, peer mentorship, financial capital to increase access to survivor-centered and trauma-informed wellness services nationally. This program also houses our Nurture Forward Directory, in which we provide training and technical assistance to community agencies and clinical providers to increase their capacity to serve survivors within clinical settings.
