Vetting causes: Volunteers across the country serve as members of Tiger Teams spending hundreds of hours investigating and vetting potential causes. When we take on a cause we are firmly convinced that our clients are worth defending. Our research is often passed along to attorneys and reporters saving time and money for billed hours to our clients. Staff also participate in vetting causes.
Regional organizers recruit and direct volunteers in their states identify and coordinate with causes and clients and help identify new possible causes.
Hernandez GA: The first DFCS case we took on that opened the floodgates of cases country-wide leading to the creation of the Family Reunification Program. Dartmouth College NH: 2A debate with David Hogg and free speech discussion with Students For Liberty.
Timms GA: Brady and Carries son Jameson was almost separated from his family forever when a CAP at CHOA confused Ehlers Danlos Syndrome for abuse. After 1,180 days Jameson is home once more with his brother and parents.
Massie: When Rebeccah brought her questions about the salary of the city attorney of Surprise AZ to the city council the mayor had her trespassed and arrested in front of her 12-year-old daughter citing her in violation of a law barring criticism of council members. Public pressure would see her charges dropped the attorneys resignation and the mayor not seeking re-election. She is pursuing a lawsuit against the city with one of our partner organizations.
Sullivans GA: Corey and Dianas child Amelia had in utero complications and medical conditions that led to fractures and other health issues. A Child Abuse Pediatrician CAP at the Childrens Hospital of Atlanta CHOA declared them the result of abuse rather than conduct further testing. This set into motion a legal fight that lasted nearly 600 days and almost resulted in them losing their children forever. In May 2025 their nightmare ended with the closure of their case.
Be Kind Be Great SC: After serving the unhoused in Columbia SC for more than seven years Ericka Brown of Be Kind Be Great was told that she wasnt welcomed to keep helping providing foods supplies and community to those in need. This caused Ericka to question if she would be able to keep going in Columbia. You Are The Power through helping serve showing up to city council meetings participating in public events to spread awareness and addressing the harassment head on has enabled Ericka to help those in need with even more public support than before.
