Mission

Young adult survivors united (yasu) provides mental health, social, and financial support to young adult cancer survivors diagnosed between ages 18 and 45. This population is developmentally transitioning into early adulthood as they earn independence and establish intimate relationships just when blindsided by cancer, forcing them to pause life and fight for their lives. Yasu's programs alleviate their anxiety, depression, trauma, and daily stressors by offering virtual support groups, socials, financialassistance, free respite experiences, as well as support programs for their caregivers. All programs are led by trained facilitators and are offered nationally with the exception of financial assistance.
