Transforming Lives Through Movement. Young Dance encourages youth in our community to build body and spirit through the creative art of dance.

Young Dance Company - 21 dancers participated in the Young Dance Company under the direction of Anat Shinar Judy Shui Xian and Margaret Ogas in the 2023-24 season. company. The company performed at the Luminary Arts Center to culminate the season. They also performed at the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

All Abilities Dancing - Though individuals with disabilities are welcomed into any of our classes and programs Young Dance also offers specific classes and programs geared towards individuals with disabilities. 25 individuals participated in our ongoing All Abilities Dancing classes Sep-May and summer session.

Community Partnerships - A vital part of our programming are community partnerships that happen with schools and community organizations bringing dance to people who otherwise cannot access our programming. We offered extended programs lasting multiple weeks with Ramsey County Juvenile Corrections Minneapolis and St. Paul schools and Interact Center for the Arts and Midwest Special Services. We offered 1 time programs at Minnesota Orchestra. Our Community Partnerships served 1500 participants.
