Youth development - the ymca is committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen. It believes that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That's why the association helps young people cultivate the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievment. The ymca programs, such as before and after school, youth sports, and summer day camp offer a range of experiences that enrich cognitive, social, physical, and emotional growth. Direct financial assistance made participation possible in 2024 for 45 youth who otherwise could not afford to participate.

Expenses: $504K

Social responsibility - the ymca believes in giving back and supporting our neighbors. It has been listening and responding to our community's most critical social needs for more than 140 years. Ymca programs, such as livestrong, the annual support campaign, and program and policy volunteers, are examples of how it delivers training, resources, and support that empower our neighbors to effect change, bridge gaps, and overcome obstacles. In 2024, the association engaged 86 volunteers in activities that strengthen the community and pave the way for future generations to thrive. Fee assistance in the form of scholarships totaled $25,997 in 2024.
