Healthy living - the y is committed to improving the health and well-being of our communityone person, one family at a time. We bring people together through fitness, sports, wellness programs, and shared activities that support physical health and emotional connection. More than 8,000 individuals in our community turn to the y each year for the support, guidance, and resources they need to strengthen their spirit, mind, and body. As families navigate busy lives, chronic disease continues to rise, and many seek connection and purpose, the y remains a trusted place for health, healing, and belonging. Our programs are accessible and welcoming to allregardless of background, income, faith, or ability. In 2024, the ymca of western stark county provided $115,681 in financial assistance, making it possible for 2,468 individuals to take part in youth development and healthy living programs they might not otherwise be able to afford.
