Mission

Nonprofit organization focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Programs

1 program

Youth development / social responsibility - our y is committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen. We cultivate the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, educational achievement and better health. Our programs (including child care, after school, camping, youth sports, leadership development, summer and early learning, parent-child and family) offer experiences that enrich cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth and strengthen family connections. In y facilities and throughout the community, we serve 94,546 children and teens. Subsidies and financial assistance make participation possible for those in need. Our y is committed to strengthening our community and responding to critical social needs. Project cornerstone is our community initiative to partner with schools, engage parent volunteers, and provide on-campus programming to 59,449 students to build self-esteem, prevent bullying and risky behaviors, and create a positive school climate. We fight hunger by providing 624,594 healthy meals and snacks to those in need. We engage 5,869 donors and 5,728 volunteers who devote time and resources to help others. We create healthy, balanced families and communities.
