Mission
Young singers of the palm beaches is an award-winning community-based children's choir which teaches life skills through music. We give children an inclusive atmosphere of artistic excellence to develop teamwork and leadership skills, form supportive friendships, and serve as ambassadors in our community. We value the unique qualities of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Programs
1 program
Since 2011, we have provided free after-school and summer camp choral programming at various schools and out-of-school care sites throughout palm beach county including the glades. Conductors of our after-school choirs are all music professionals, many who currently teach music at palm beach county schools. Our after-school choirs enrich children with all the benefits of being in a choir, like a sense of belonging, self-confidence, becoming a better reader, as well as learning vocal techniques, proper posture and breathing, tone production, and learning to sight read music. Last year our outreach programs reached over 2,000 elementary and middle school students.
