The young womens christian association of yakima is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Programs

The transitional housing program provides temporary housing for women and their families while they rebuild self-sufficiency in a safe and nurturing environment. The ywca transitional housing units include 16 affordable studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units that are subsidized with state and federal funds. This program also includes supportive services and education that help families achieve stability as they move from emergency shelters towards permanent housing and independent living.
