Victim advocacy program is a community-based non-shelter program that assists victims with orders of protection, accompanies victims to court, conducts danber assessments, develops safety plans, leads support groups and provides referrals to other local services as needed. Services are accessible in both criminal and civil courts and offered by bilingual/bicultural advocates who speak spanish, english, arabic and french.

Phyllis wheatley center provides youth with the tools necessary to overcome obstacles and to succeed in school and beyond through the afterschool enrichment program and summer kids in play program. Phyllis wheatley center has been a trusted community center serving east knoxville since 1920.

Social services are geared toward working with low-income families and individuals to meet basic and emergency needs while focusing on educational and career goals. Program staff provide evidence-based and research- focused services to individuals in six counties, focusing on reducing dependency on government benefits and increasing household wealth.
