Mission
The Youth and Adult Center provides critical educational, professional, and social development programs to empower youth and adults from economically disadvantaged communities to achieve self-sufficiency and success. Its mission also includes a faith based outreach to help create a foundation that will help instill what is right and wrong while offering prayer in trying times. The mission helps to open doors for veteran and seniors housing opportunities. YAC believes wisdom is priceless, coupled with volunteered seniors and veterans, children are mentored.

They learned to place anger into confidence and confidence into success. Disadvantage or undeserved can be made a stigma to different groups of people; the color of ones skin, ethnicity, community or even religious views. Together with the fundamentals of prayer and work ethic, construction training or tool box talk is always vital as a foundation to helping build futures.
0Participants were able to learn how construction projects start. Individuals learned how to do demolitions, prep and make material list for project. The participant had hand on experience on the construction site as they shadowed the different professional volunteers.
