Purpose: Youth Leadership Development Mission Statement: Youth At The Center advances opportunities for children, youth, and young adults to be seen, heard, and valued as the next generation of leaders in their community.

YALA (Youth Antiracist Leadership Academy) is a program where young people better understand themselves and the world around them by exploring who they are and how they lead. Through examining the history of racism and movements for change, participants identify ways to be a leader for justice and liberation. We had 20 participants in our YALA program.
Earn As You Learn Youth Entrepreneurship Employment Program - We had 8 students complete the spring cohort and 20 students complete the summer cohort of Earn As You Learn, where they learned about being an entrepreneur and starting their own business. Participants gained skills in business plans, market research, brand identity, marketing, and financial literacy.
