Youth Entrepreneur Institute YEI empowers youth from underserved communities to develop entrepreneurial artistic creative and technical skills that prepare them for innovative futures. Through year-round and seasonal programs YEI integrates ART and STEAM disciplines hands-on product creation and real-world business experience to cultivate leadership financial wellness and career readiness.

High School Programs Artpreneur & Smart Hustle Year-Round Internship Description: Year-round work-based learning and creative economy entrepreneurship training for high school students. Participants build technical creative and entrepreneurial skills in areas such as graphic arts apparel making commercial production product design and financial literacy. Students operate YEIs in-house social enterprises from production to sales and participate in pitch competitions to earn startup funds. Key Outcomes: Teens launched real businesses strengthened leadership and business acumen and generated income through sales. Programs Included: Artpreneur Smart Hustle Year-Round Internship.

Summer Programs Artprentice STEAMprentice Smart Hustle Abroad Description: Seasonal programs offering intensive hands-on entrepreneurship training through the lens of the creative economy. Youth learn product creation skills T-shirts candles videos art products participate in vending events and engage in leadership and cultural immersion activities. Smart Hustle Abroad includes domestic and international travel experiences with college tours and cultural excursions. Key Outcomes: Over 80 students in grades 9-12 participated in skill-building workshops gained real-world business experience and expanded their understanding of global markets and cultural diversity. Programs Included: Artprentice STEAMprentice Smart Hustle Abroad.
