All star sports ministries is a sports program for youth ages 11-19. The purpose is to create a safe sanctuary with a strict code of conduct through recruiting healthy father figures to be the role models young men desperately need in their lives. Bringing encouragement, recognition and consistancy for each player, through mentorship/coaching and teaching basic skills, and healthy life principles.
God's girls - a middle school girls program ages 11-14 that teaches young girls their purpose in christ through manners, etiquette, arts, life skills, home skills, cooking, sewing, etc., and sound biblical principles, including a focus on abstinence. Currently running in 3 city schools.
The fatherhood initiative - a series of conferences and trainings to have an impact on the 75% fatherless homes in our city by raising an army of godly male role models. Currently we have 6 men in our gym on friday nights being that role model and giving recognition, encouragement and most of all consistancy to our young men.
Parent life teen parent ministry - every year over 800 teens in monroe county schools give birth. The mission of parent life of yfc is to empower adolescent parents and youth at risk for early parenting to become responsible and self-sufficient through mentoring, education, spiritual encouragement, and social support. Parent life participants receive case management support, connect weekly with their mentors, and meet bi-weekly for rli-a group session on b.
