Community-Based Services Youth Homes direct service providers offer mental and behavioral health services, including individual, family, and group therapy, intensive care coordination, and Intensive Home-based support to youth with trauma and significant behavioral challenges at risk of losing housing or school placement. The therapists, coaches, and specialists work intensively with the youth, young adults, and their families/caregivers to ensure adequate services and support are provided and coordinated to stabilize the youth/young adult. All listed services are offered to youth aged 5 years through adolescence and into adulthood up to age 26.
Therapeutic Behavioral Services: Youth Homes provides intensive individual, family-based skill coaching to alleviate severe behavioral challenges that would otherwise lead to the youth being hospitalized or placed in residential treatment facilities. A highly trained, specialized team of behavioral specialists works with children and youth ages 3-21 in their daily lives and environments, including home, school, and community settings, to reduce debilitating behaviors. We serve approximately 80-100 youth annually in this program.
Youth Homes operates a fully functional Thrift Shop with 9 paid employees and approximately 54 volunteers. Revenue generated from this program supports our programs and services. We also partner with the Department of Rehabilitation to run an employment training program. The store expanded its footprint by 1000 sq feet in January 2025.
