Mission

To develop the skills of young people, and in doing so, increase their opportunity for success. Youthplaces focuses on underserved youth and young adults in high-risk communities where few other agencies operate.

Programs

1 program

Knowing that chronic unemployment and intergenerational poverty are significant barriers that lead young people/adults to engage in high risk negative behaviors within our communities, yp wanted to begin providing workforce development programs year round. The out of school youth programs engage youth and young adults between the ages of 16-24 who have obtained a ged or high school diploma in workforce development training programs in multiple skill trade areas of construction, building maintenance and management, customer service and culinary.
